One of the most peculiar calendars you’ve ever seen. Can seriously change your perception of time.

A simple, elegant yet versatile design that invites you to  actively work with it, in order to make the best use of the power it holds.

A (magic) timekeeping tool (and/ or) a meaningful piece of art

What will you make of it?

NOTE: some pictures show the 2022 or 2021 printed calendar so details like dates and days of the week might not be in accordance with the current year.

Kalindar: round, not square

Since its first edition — 2015 — we, the creators, cannot imagine a year without the Kalindar.
Each year, the design changed a bit, evolved, refined.

We added features. We solved problems and understood the year — and maybe time itself — a bit better.

The artwork is new with each edition. Usually some kind of Imago Mundi (2023 coming soon)– an image of the world that you can admire as it is or get down and creative and add your touch, at will.

Connect The Dots — The minimal design Kalindar

A simple yet unique grid of dots at 60° from each other. What will you connect?

Be it your sigils, runes, a personal mandala of the year or simply discover the creator/creatrix within, you’ll be surprised on just how versatile the grid of dots can be.

A hands-on calendar:

The central space may be colored or graphically used and/or colored for recreational or magical purposes.

Open space for your important holidays.
Not all civil or religious holidays are relevant to everybody. Birthdays, Christmas or Yule, the day you go on vacation, whatever you plan, whatever you hope for: find the day on the kalindar, check the moon phase, see how long ’till then. Mark it down, make it happen. Not having a predefined grid for that? A feature, not a bug

Fun fact: time seems to flow faster around the equinoxes and slower around the solstices. How will you make use of this observance?

Something to remember: there is no perfect calendar. As precise as time measurements have become, all calendars are very approximate on longer periods of time, due to the many factors that affect the movement of Planet Earth through space.

How to use

Follow the steps as you read.

We’ll send it to you for free after your purchase, once the ebook is done (before 2022, promise!)

What to expect

The Wheel of the Year:

each day is placed on one big circle containing all of the 365 (or 366) days of the year — the approximate time it takes Earth to revolve once around the Sun.

The Year starts on Ianuarius 1 and follows the direction of the white arrow, clockwise.

Lenght of months

is in accordance to the Gregorian calendar.
30,31, and 28 days in February 2021.

Names of the month

are in Latin, to celebrate their origin.
The Julian Calendar, proposed by Julius Caesar and designed with the aid of Greek mathematicians and astronomers took effect on 1 January —45 BC and was the predominant calendar in the Roman world and most of Europe for more than 1,600 years until 1582, the year the Gregorian calendar was introduced by Pope Gregory XIII. It is a minor twist of the Julian Calendar and it is now used in most of the world, at least for civil purposes.

Equinoxes & solstices

are marked with arrows.
The UTC times of these important astronomical events are printed on the calendar. That might help when planning a celebration — just sayin’.

The Moon

represents feminine energy and our deepest personal desires and needs. Wisdom, intuition, birth, death, reincarnation, and spiritual connection. Follow her along your path: as the closest astronomical body to Earth, she bears a powerful influence over our psyches.

Features of the Kalindar

Weekdays feature their alchemical symbol. Each day of the week ➞ the name of an important celestial body from our solar system and the name of an ancient god — as observed in roman languages. Fun fact: many other languages borrowed the Latin way to name the days of the week: names of the same planets or corresponding gods
The exact moon phase is shown next to each day. Every single day of the year, very easy to follow. For example, on the 19th of April 2021 the moon will be reaching its first quarter.

The June solstice marks the longest day of the year and the shortest night*. Celebrated as a Midsummer across cultures, it’s a perfect day to wait for The Sun to rise, along with friends, around a fire. You’ll be surprised at just how short that night was. From now on, nights start to get longer until the December solstice.

The March equinox means the beginning of the spring. Changes happen fast, as Nature flushes with life. Plants start to send their energy up, to form leaves and new growth. From now on, the day is longer than the night.
The September Equinox marks the beginning of autumn. Day is as long as Night but changes are very obvious from day to day. Plants start sending their energy back to the roots. From now on, the night is longer than the day.
The December Solstice marks the shortest day and the longest night in the northern hemisphere. The night is so long that people created myths about The Sun being born again and thus bringing hope of a new life. From now on, days start to get longer until the June solstice.*

It is a unique calendar, which follows the phases of the Moon, but at the same time it is like a special decorative poster. My little girls were both delighted to color the calendar and to study the monthly the passage of time, the rotation of the Moon. It’s a unique gift for friends too.

I highly recomment the Kosmokalindar, not only because it looks great but also because you can relax by coloring it or by studying it! It’s a special calendar for me; not only does it enhance the look of my room; I follow the passage of time and become more conscious; I know it’s crafted with heart and passion and I support the local artist. It can find it’s place in any style, it’s a win-win!
